New Year 2022 – Return of Blogging
The years in business seem to be flying by! I started Vanilla Sprinkles with just a blog and a youtube channel, and it’s time to bring those back!
Now with Vanilla Sprinkles being a full-time Coffee and Cupcake Van, I think this blog needs an update too!
What’s happened between 2017 and 2022??
2017
Graduated High School
Found another part time, started saving money for the business
2018
Spent a year working and saving
Doing Markets every weekend
Doing as many orders as possible of cupcakes and cakes
Started and Completed Certificate IV in New Small Business
Completed a business plan, of wanting a cupcake/dessert van!
2019
20th March, I bought a 1953 King Vintage Caravan
13th May, I named the van “Taylor” the King of my Heart!
Spent 6 months renvotating to be a Cupcake and Coffee Van
18th August Taylor’s Launch Party
1st September, Taylor’s First Market at The Local Farmers’ Market at Honeywood!
1st October First Time trading in Mandurah at Quarry Park
Closed from Oct 24th till November for moving house
17th November First Time trading at our forever home POINT PERON
Gave up my Part time Job, to work Full time for myself!
2020
Started Regular trading at Point Peron Wednesday to Monday!
Made Friends with some amazing Regulars!
Traded through the start of a Pandemic!
Started our 4 new flavours a week!
30th May, I purchased a KOMBI for my business
Built an Online Store
2021
Survived more lockdowns
Renewed my permit at Point Peron for another year!
Purchased my TURBO FAN
Finished my Kombi!
Had my first holiday from working for myself
Completed some upgrades on the van
Had the van resprayed
Honestly these last 4 years have flown with so much happening! I was happy to slow down a little in the last few! 2022 is hopefully going to bring on all new adventures again! I honestly can’t wait, and can’t wait to be back writing and sharing them with you!
I also want to do this to remind myself, on far I have come with my business. To remind myself where I started, and that I have done so much for a young person, and have ticked off so many goals already!
But 2022 has to have a few new goals too, and here is to sharing them with you on here!
